All About the Metaverse — For Now

I am writing this in April of 2022. The Metaverse is much talked about, less understood, and always changing. Therefore I included “For Now” in the title of this article.

When most people think of virtual reality (VR), they probably imagine a 3D, computer-generated world that users can interact with. But this type of VR is just one part of a larger concept known as the Metaverse. The Metaverse is a term often used to describe a virtual world that exists online and allows for interaction between users. It’s like the internet itself, but with added features that make it more immersive and interactive. So what are some of the key features of the Metaverse? And why is it so important?
